Event Details

VCU Health Hume-Lee Transplant Center will hold virtual/in-person education events in July and November 2024. Patients, their loved ones, friends, and caregivers are invited to join us to learn about the advantages of living kidney donation.

During the education event, you will:

• Learn about the living donor evaluation process and expectations;
• Learn how your family and friends can support your transplant journey;
• Learn about living donor kidney transplantation;
• Hear inspiring stories from living kidney donors and living kidney donor transplant recipients;
• Receive important resources and facts on kidney transplantation; and,
• Have an opportunity to ask questions to members of our kidney transplant team.

When

• Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
